2 negative home pregnancy test and a light period.

my period came 3 days late. before that, i had taken one prenancy test which was indeed negative. 2 hours before i got my period(3 days after my missed period) i had taken another one which again was negative. today, my period isn't as heavy as it usually isand it's only the second day. it was moderate yesterday and throughout the night. can this mean that i'm pregnant?

hello,

i am kinda goin thru the same thing, i was two 1/2 days late of starting my period and when i did, it was spotting, real light then a day later a light light flow then nothing for a while....also been real nauseaous and tired but unsure if that could be my health prob i have been having lately.
i am also on the pill but other meds might have messed it up and i wasnt great at taking the pill this month-- im confused...all the p tests ive taken came back negative, even at the hosp---prolly too early or just over thinking myself.

I wouldn't be too worried if I where you.  For years I had a very regular flow period which lasted 5-6 days.  Over the past year my period has become lighter, shorter (often only 2-3 days tops)and more irregular.  I don't know if it has anything to do with my on and off relationship with the pill, or just my body changing, but for some reason it's definately changed.  If 2 pregnancy tests tested negatively, and you do have your period, it doesn't sound like your pregnant.  Possibly your cycle is just changing like mine did?  Good luck though!

Hi

I guess no one can be really sure, some will tell you a period is a period so no your not because of the previous negatives, and sometimes the body does change for a bit. SOme may of experienced this and then found out they were preg after that.

I would say a bit of both. If you have been trying, there could be a possibility I guess if its really that light, but if youve been extra careful prob not.

Are you on the pill or anything like that?

I suggest you wait and see how many days your 'period' lasts for because maybe its just going to be light but the same amount of days. If you have any symptoms you could always test again but I think prob not.
