2 possible fathers

My situation is similar but complicated. I just found out I am pregnant. From tracking/calculating my cycles, ovulation dates, luteal phases, etc, I should be 4w2d. I would be okay with this only if I were sure of who the father was. To give a little background info, I already have a child by each of the men. I had intercourse with my oldest's father on 4/4. He pulled out and did not ejaculate inside (but I thought about the pre-ej). I had intercourse with my youngest's father on 4/7. He did not pull out, and he did ejaculate inside. By charting online, my fertile periods were 4/5-4/9 with 4/8 being my actual ovulation date. My fear comes from knowing that since I am compatible with both men, how am I to be sure of who the father is? Now coincidentally, my youngest child was conceived on the day I ovulated (jun 7, 2005). This time around we almost did it again, give or take a day. My cycles have been regular, they are every 28 days, and according to my last two cycles my luteal phase/ovulation is on the 12th day.
It seems likely that it would be the youngest's father, but not if my oldest's father's sperm/pre-ejac was still there. This was the first time I had been with my oldest's father in years, but I find myself with the other about once every couple of mos.
Not to be too graphic or anything but I/my body was more willing to be with the youngest's father, and more lubricated. I really wasnt into being with the other.
Anyway, my online tracking site says it is more likely for me to have conceived up to two days before or on the day of ovulation. All those days fall in line with the youngest's father. (We left the club together on the 6th, it was after two so it was really the 7th when the intercourse took place, and ovulation was on the 8th). But the BIG QUESTION is: WAS THE SPERM/PRE-EJAC FROM THE FIRST FATHER STILL HOLDING ON AND ALREADY THERE? (if any pre-ejac got inside me). ADVICE PLEASE, I'M PULLING MY HAIR OUT!!!

I am in a similar situation. I have done plenty of research & it states that no sperm is in pre-*** & if there is then they are most likely immobile. What was your outcome of the situation?

I am sorry if I offended you, but if you are sleeping with two men.. you have children by each of them.. so you have your oldest... by one dad.. then your youngest  by another dad.. then your baby by the oldest's dad.. don't you think that will raise some questions on down the road?  I am not judging you - just pointing out that maybe there will be some hard questions to answer.

Good Luck!

during your fertile days, did you notice any eggwhite or watery cervical mucus?  If your cervical conditions were favorable for the sperm to live, the first guys sperm could have been there and you definitely need a paternity test, and I agree, be honest with both guys.

How is having another child confusing the ones you already have? If you're honest with the children from the start, then there is nothing to explain. I'm not trying to be rude to you either, but your comment seemed a bit offensive and was better kept to yourself. I posted for advice and support, not criticism. My children will be fine. I dont think they will judge me the way you obviously have.

Not trying to be rude.. But COME ON!  Nothing like confusing the kids FURTHER by adding another one to the mix.  I am not trying to be rude, but now you have to explain to your children how THIS happened! Oh, better yet, they will figure it out when they are older!  Well, good luck either way :s

Hi, i think i;m on the same boat and confused on who is the father of my baby.
I had my regular period December 18,2006.  I knew I'll be fertile and ovulating so had sex on Dec. 28 & 30th.
Did not have a period on January. Took a HPT but turns out to be negative. Then on February 16th I had a positve blood work with a 67980 HCG level. Then on March 2nd I had an ultrasound saying that I am 5 weeks and six days pregnant. My OB-gyne scheduled me for a NT ultrasound but when I got there last Monday, April 23 the  technician said she can't do it anymore because I'm already on my 15th week of pregnancy.
I'm really confused now, does this means that I got pregnant December and not January because of the absence of my period (I'm always regular) or did i get pregnant sometime in January which i doubt will be the case since i won't be able to determine my ovulating period.
Please help me, I need help in this matter because I'm really confused and yes there is a question of paternity in this matter cause I didn't have sex with the guy i mention i sleep with last days of December on any day in January but with a different one.
HELP PLS.

You'll have to get a paternity test, but I'm not at all sure congrats are in order.  I'm sorry this has happened to your children, and this current child.

I would assume that it is the second guys baby, but like nalla said the only way to tell it to do a paternity test after the baby is born.  I would be honest with both guys.

There isn't any way to tell who the father is since you were with the men so close together. Unfortunatly you are going to have to wait till the baby is born and do a paternity test. Sorry couldn't help more.

Congrats on your pregnancy
