2 week long period on birth control

i got my period after having intercourse one day and my period started the day afterwards. however, i'm on the pill and i'm still on my period right now, on my 10th/11th day. i googled all this tho, and it said it's normal for bleeding to be abnormal during the first three months on birth control, but i just want to make sure if i should really be concerned.
my period has also not been as heavy as it was when i was off the pill - it's more on the light/medium side, but it's been that exact same flow since it started last week.
pleaaaase help lol

Well, that's annoying, I'm sure.  I'd guess this is more spotting than being on a period since you say it's lighter than normal.  Break through bleeding/spotting can happen when the balance of hormones you are taking with your own you produce isn't quite right.  See your doctor as your pill choice may need to be re evaluated.  good luck
