it came as normal as it comes with no problem. it was there without a doubt. nothing changed about it at all.
I wasn't saying you can't get pregnany, im saying that once you're off of ANY kinda of birth control you're cycle can take months to regulate. You very well may be pregnant, but it may be your period just late. How was your period the first month you got off the Nuva? Did it come 28 days still, or was it off a little?
i had a negative blood test with my first child.....once then nuva ring has been out for more than 3 hours un have no medicine in you to keep protected. once it is out then you arent protected and you can get pregnant easily. my best friend had hers out a month and got pregnant with no problems. nuva ring doesnt quite work like pills. it says on there if it comes out you have 3 hours to put it or a new back in to stay protected.
I know it may seem like 2 months off of bc is a long time but it isn't. You're body has to get back on a regular cycle, and that can take months
A full bladder i think makes it easier to view under the ultrasound. I had a miscarriage about 4 weeks ago, and i had absolutly NO PAIN! i started spotting light brown, but my nurse told me that's normal after intercourse. And then 3 days later i woke up and it was like i had my period. I did miscarry naturally, and seriously had no pains whatsoever, I dont think you are actually pregnant because everything including a blood test came out negative. If you had miscarried that your blood test usually still comes out positive.
your not having a miscarrige. if your blood test came back negative your not pregnant and not having a miscarriage because that would give you a postive blood test
havent been on bc atleast for two months now..........btw
i have to go tomorrow with a full bladder. my friend who is a nurse isnt quite sure while he wants me to have a full bladder. maybe to check to make sure that everything in my lower cavity is ok. i have had no cramps or anything like that at all to feel like i am having a miscarriage. he said was just slight bleeding. she said that he may not have been able to tell with the spotting if i am pregnant or not. im not on bc.......
I'm sorry i didn't see your last post. I dont want to scare you but he's checking to make sure you didn't have a miscarriage, and that you are just simply late. Getting off of birth control can make your period late and that very well could be the reason you haven't started yet. But he's taking the necessary actions to make sure it's nothing serious. Dont worry i'm sure you're ok...
no he didnt say what he wanted to confirm. yes i am spotting but not enough to have to have a pad or anything. just when i pee. my period was normal then around 5 and half months of pregnancy it stopped. my last period was july 15th. today is two weeks late. ideas?

You've done all the necessary actions waiting for the doctor is the only thing you can do. If you are spotting, that's normal especially after intercourse. The hpt may not be detecting your hormone levels yet, that's very common if it's still a little early. If it's day 3 and youre still waiting for your doctor's response, i would call and check up on them. Good luck
He didn't tell you what he wanted to confirm? That you were spotting?
You say you had your period for the first four months of your last pregnancy. Was it like a normal period or was it lighter or shorter? Just curious.
***UPDATE*** PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME...... just got back from the doctor. the blood test came back negative and he wanted to see me because i am spotting. so he did a pelvic exam and then said ok i want to confirm with an ultrasound. WTH does that mean. he said i was slightly spotting. BUT i have to have a full bladder when i get the ultrasound in the morning. PLEASE someone help on what this could be.......
forgot to tell you this.....i was on nuvaring and it came out i suppose when i went to the bathroom after sex with my bf. i didnt know it came out till like 2 weeks later...so we had unproctected sex many many times with those two weeks and one of those is when i was ovulating too. and many times after that too. so i know we have a good chance of being pregnant.
