3 Weeks Late

The last day of my last period was Thursday June 18, 2009 it is now Tuesday August 4, 2009. I went my doctor Friday July 31, 2009 and he said to give it another week and if I still have not started my period to come back. Well yesterday I went to the bathroom and realized that I had a small spot of pinkish blood on my panty liner, so I changed it. The next time I went to the bathroom there was nothing. I have been having some cramping in my stomach, tenderness in my breasts, and sharp pains that feel like they are shooting right through the middle of my nipples, and my husband said I have been unusally irritible. I have taken 4 HPT all of which came back with a negitive result. I do havew 2 children. With my oldest I was almost 13 weeks pregnant before I had a positive result on a HPT, with my second pregnancy I was almost 10 weeks before I had a positive. I havent really been under anymore stress then I am usually under. I was in a car wreck but, everything with that was sorted out with in 2 days so I wasn't stressed over it at all. I guess my thing is that if I am pregnant then I need to know so that I can get into the OB, if not then why am I not having a period when I was so regular before. Any suggestions or ideas?

Thanks I called my doctor today to make and appointment. I am waiting for the nurse to call me back to let me know if the doctor wants me to come in or schedule an appointment. I feel like I am pregnant though. I was 13 weeks when I finally got a positive result with my first child and I was 10 weeks with my second child.

I guess I am just wondering if Im not pregnant and Im not having a period then what is wrong with me.

I suggest a pregnancy blood test at the doctor's.   If it's negative, I'd wait to see if you miss another period, and then have some diagnostics done if you do.
