Acne

Just out of curiosity I went off of BCP this past July and this past month I have been breaking out like a teenager. I am 30 years old and would have hoped this acne business would end by now. Has anyone else who has gone off of the pill developed acne?

Hi, going to the doctor is good but sometimes, it strips you with money when they prescribe you with expensive medicine and treatments that may not work. The person who knows and understands your skin more than anyone in the world is you. I was suffering from sebborhic dermatitis and acne for a very long time that it made me hopeless until i found this herbal called LACTO PAFI. I am from the philippines. Its being sold here for Php80.00, equivalent to 2 dollars. You can try to arrange a fast shipment with the dealer.I slathered it on my face and rinse it with water after a few seconds. Its very safe because its herbal. It has helped a lot and has gotten rid of my acne. Thank you God.

I have noticed that my boobs are pretty sore. I hope that is also a sign that I ovulated.

Never got my LH surge, but I drink lots of fluids at work and I think it got dilluted from that.  Funny thing though, after I threw them away, I checked on them the next day after they were dry and there was a line.  Not a dark line, but more of a line than there was 3 minutes after I took it.

I'm worried now about the whole "if you had sex 1 day before you ovulate, then there's only a 5% chance of conceiving"  thing.  It's really disappointing because we waited until that day before so he could build up for several days, and now it might be futile....how frustrating!

I know it is very frustrating. I try and BD either every three days or every other day as soon as AF is over. They say every other day is plenty of time to buildup the lil' swimmers. While I had a lot of EWCM we BD 3 days in a row. So if I did Ovul I am pretty sure there would have been healthy guys waiting for the egg. I will keep my fingers crossed.  I also had days where my OPK would show a line but it was never darker then the main line. Then yesterday I tried it again and there was not even a trace of a line. I am like you I drink tons of water all day so maybe I did surge and did not catch it with the test.
I am still experiencing weird twinges tho.. Not too sure why but not painful just noticeable.

I also read in an article that BBT is more accurate than OPK.  I know alot of people would probably disagree, but it said that your body will not spike unless you do ovulate.  Since there is this chance you drink too much water and go to the bathroom too much, OPK doesn't always work.  I mean, look at us!  Two people it didn't work for right there!
I kinda' have those twinges too.  I'm hoping they are "good" twinges, like the egg may be implanting or something!  (Trying to stay optimistic! Fingers crossed for us both!) I also read it takes 6 days for the egg to implant into the wall of the uterus, so if that's so, I might feel something as soon as Friday.  We'll see...

Awful isn't it???  I feel like a kid.  How are you doing? Did you ever get your LH surge? I never did but after looking back over my BBT for the past cycle it looks slightly elevated around the time I had a LOT of EWCM.

Sorry, I meant I thought it was too soon to feel pregnant, having just ovulated a few days a go. Though I bd'ed starting days 6/7 through day 12. My "o" day was probably the 12th. I skipped days 8 and 10 though. Oh well, just wanted to clarify prev. post. God bless and baby dust to you both~~~~~~~~=)

Well, from what I've read, you can "feel" pregnant within a week of fertilization.  Yeah, I keep getting these twinges in my lower abdomen, but I don't want to get my hopes up like last time when I thought I was preg but wasn't.  Fingers crossed for us all!!!  TONS of BABY DUST***********

Yes.  I never had acne problems when on bcp.  Hormones were balanced I guess.  After going off, I usually get one big break out a month, usually right before my period.
