Afraid it is menopause!!!
I am 40 years old black female. I don't know what is wrong with me. My period came on last week on Tues. and ended on Sun. It was a normal cycle as it has been for the past twenty years or so. The problem arose this Monday when I began to pass large clots of blood. The clots range in size from a quarter to the size of an apple. I don't know what is causing this. I don't take birth control meds. I have been taken vitamin E 1500 a day. What could be causing this to happen? My boyfriend and I are trying to have a child and I am afraid that because of this I will not be able to get pregnant. Any information would be appreciated.

I agree with ipnmama. If the clots are as big as apples, in my opinion,
I would seek immediate medical attention. You could be hemorrhaging
and it could be endometriosis. Normally I would recommend making
a doctor's appointment, but I would say have someone bring you to
the nearest ER to be seen as soon as possible. The best of luck to you.

If the clots are as big as apples I would go to the er because you could be hemorrhaging, also could be endometriosis. Better to be safe than sorry.
