Am I Pregnant?

Ok. Well one night i decided to have sex; for my 2nd time in my life. Well i had been on my period when we was planning to have sex. So October 4th,2007; while at i work i had noticed i wasnt bleeding anymore; so that night around 930ish pm i had sexual intercourse. I had taken a pregnancy 4 days afterwords; came up negative. And since then ive taken like 2 more tests and they both have came up negative; but the actual 2nd test; the line was WAY thicker than what it was supposed to be. But as of yesterday; I am 3 months late on my menstrual cycle. And it feels like my concious is telling my i'm pregnant. So i dnt know what to think. And i really dont know how to tell the guy that i think i'm pregnant because we only used each other for sex; nothing else. And i'm so scarred to talk to anyone in my family bout this; bc they dnt believe in sex before marriage and sex at my age; inwhich im 18 years old. SO I NEED SOME MAJOR ADVICE ON EVERYTHING; and someone tell my if im pregnant or not..

It is pretty rare BUT on some times women can be pregnant even though the home pregnancy test will come up negative. The best thing to do would be to go to a doctor and have him or her perform a blood test. Blood test are 100% acurate.
Good Luck

A home pregnancy test will not show up a positive result until at LEAST 2 weeks after possible conception (for some people, it takes a while longer)- taking a test 4 days after intercourse is therefore meaningless.  When did you take the other 2 tests?

"If" you are pregnant, you would be about 12 weeks pregnant by now (pregnancy is counted from the time you ovulate/conceived which would be 4th October) and a HPT would definitely give you a positive result at this time.  Take another test - if it is negative, you are not pregnant.

The thickness of the lines on a HPT doesn't matter - this will always vary from test-to-test and person-to-person.   What is important is that the line in the control window shows up (this means you did the test correctly, and the test was not defective) and whether or not the line denoting pregnancy is present or absent.

Also, FYI, you can get pregnant ANYTIME throughout your cycle - some girls are not aware of this.  I know several people that got pregnant by having sex at the end of their period thinking that is was not possible - it is!  If you dont want to get pregnant, you need to use birth control.

So, long story short take another HPT.  It is impossible to tell if you are pregnant or not but a test will tell you for sure at this time.  If you are not pregnant, you should probably visit the doctor to find out why you have not had your menstrual cycle in 3 months - there are MANY reasons why this could happen (other than pregnancy) such as stress, anemia, change in weight, too much exercise, change in diet, a recent illness etc. etc. etc.
