Anovulatory or Ovulatory Cycle?

Hello...
I'm 37 yrs old and not trying to conceive. My menstrual cycles over the past year or so having been irregular, ranging from 21-40 days. I've also had some additional pms symptoms as well (breast tenderness, rumbling stomach) over the past several months in addition to my regular ones. I feel I may be early perimenopausal. My last cycle was the longest at 40 days. I had pms for 20 days. So, I decided to chart my current cycle's temps on fertility friend to see when/if I'm ovulating. I'm on cd34 and they have not not detected ovulation and frankly I don't see a thermal shift. I started having pms on cd 17 with twinging cramps the day before. I saw bright red spotting a few days after pms started on 3 different days. I've also been having mild cramps for the past several days and nausea as well (I know that's a perimenopause symptom.) I've seen typical vaginal discharge, but very little eggwhite, maybe a day or two of it. I've seen watery or clear stretchy discharge the past few days and yellowish discharge 2 days in a row. Here is the link to my chart on FF: 1954ff Ovulation charts on *******************. Hopefully you can see this. Based on this info., what could be going on?? My temp today is too high because I was sleep deprived from last night. Only slept 15-30 min before taking it. Thanks!!

Thank you. I know about the changes in CM during ovulation. I'm now on cd 44...still no AF. Ovulation was detected on cd 36 and they kept the coverline for 2 days, but then took the coverline away after that. I really don't know why because my temps have stayed above the coverline that they drew then. Maybe it's just one of those crazy cycles. I'm still having pms symptoms, though.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
You can note down few signs of ovulation like during ovulation the cervical mucus(discharge) increases and is of watery or raw egg white consistency; there is increase in basal body temperature; breast tenderness. It can be detected by an OPK (Ovulation predictor test kit) which is tested with the help of urine. You can use it to chart the ovulation.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
