At 41 years of age, could I be pregnant?

I'm 41 years and have never had a child. My guy and I have been using the withdrawal technique and no condoms. I've read that it would be very difficult for me to be pregnant at this age. All of a sudden, 3 weeks ago, I started getting abdominal and back pains, feeling nausea and wanting to spit. I felt extremely tired for days and just slept and slept. I also suddenly gave up smoking one day (great, because I had been trying for years) and have not had the urge to smoke since. I smell certain things and I want to vomit and my taste buds have gone crazy (I'm atributing this to giving up smoking) A week before my period was due, I started bleeding ( my period has been like clockwork for as long as I can remember)and it was different from my normal period, though just as heavy.
Then a few days ago, I started to feel better and thought nothing more of it. Now, I feel nausea all the time, I want to constantly spit and fight hard to keep tiredness at bay. Am I just going through hormonal changes or could it be something else.

I am 41, never been pregnant. All of a sudden for the very first time no period. I have never missed a month. I wonder though if I am starting menopause. But do you just stop immediately?
Took a test a few days ago, it was negative. Now I don't know. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow.

Well, I can attest to the fact that the pull out method doesn't always work.  I hear the proof of that yelling "mommy" from the next room.  I'd certainly go get a test.  This might just be your almost "mid-life" blessing!  Keep us posted!

Yes, you could be pregnant.  If you are still having a regular period, the parts are still working!!! Lots of woman have children - naturally without the help of medical science - after the age of 40.  Get a pregnancy test asap.
