Serious help with plan B?

On Sept 29th I had unprotected sex with an old friend (we're both going through a divorce, alllll wrong situation, I know this).
I had my last period Sept 19th
The sex was at midnight on the 29th *so early monday morning
I was due to ovulate around Tuesday the 2nd or Wednesday the 3rd.
Within one hour I took Plan B
13 hours later I took the second pill.
On Oct 6th (a full week after taking the pill) I started cramping and bleeding - but the blood isn't like a regular period - it's more than spotting, but not as much as a normal period, this is day three, and I'd guestimate that it is only enough blood to fill up one pad a day. I was due to get my period on the 14th but since I started bleeding a week early on the 6th I don't know if this is an early period or what it is.

When pregnant with my other daughters, I knew within about 8-10 days after ovulation. So I took a pregnancy test and ofcourse it was negative. I need to wait a few more days.

My question is does anyone know if this is a period or if it's just some effects from the plan B?

Thanks,
Brandy

plan b works pretty well...so i would say you dont need to be very concerned with pregnancy. take a test in a few weeks just to be sure. you would be suprised how many girls take plan b and then ask and get very worried when they see blood because they didnt read the instructions

I did read the instructions prior to it, but because it was a week from my normal period and the instructions say BOTH that it can make your period come early AND that it can cause spotting in between, I wanted an opinon on which it was doing, and if I still needed to be concerned about pregnancy. I'm a 30 year old mother of two, there is no way I would take something without reading the instrucitons. However I do appreciate your input!

Thanks!

you should have read the instructions prior to taking them so you know what you are taking and the effects.

it will tell you that you can spot bleed miss a period bleed a lot cramp...etc. i dont think it really matters if it was your period or from the pill. im sure you are fine
