Babies in ICU, I want to help

I recently heard that our local hospitals are in need of mothers milk for their infant icu, I had my last child 5 years ago and I was wondering if there is a medication that can get me to start producing milk again.  I've had 5 children and breastfed all of them, so I know the importance of breast milk.  I'm 35, healthy, and able to pump since I'm a stay at home mom

Unfortunately they usually only accept donor milk from someone who has given birth to a child within the last 12 months.

Believe it or not, you can just start pumping. It takes a while, but it will come through.

Also, the hormone responsible for milk production is called Prolactin. (Its produced by the pituitary gland in the brain).

Medication such as metoclopramide or thioridazine can cause a rise in prolactin, then viola - breastmilk.
