Hi
Im on cilest bcp .. and the same thing happened to me.. only it happened mid-pack with me. And ive been to and from the doctors a million times.. blood test only just been done so awaiting the result. Dont mean to make you feel like it couldnt get any worse.. but ive been having my period now for 3months!! whilst still taking the pill. some days its heavy and bright red.. other days its like what you are explaining.. stringy, brown and well .. not very attractive!
But my doctor has no answer for it yet. and wont test me for ovarian cysts or anything.. apparently at 18 its unlikely ill get them!!
If you get an answer it would be great if you could share it.. cuz my doctors arnt helping me!!
Thanks
Kim xx
I know exactly what you're talking about. The same thing just happened to me. I'm thinking it might be the ortho tricylen lo (mainly because I can't think of anything else it might be) and I'm going to make an appt. with the doctor. That's about the only thing I can think of for you to do. I posted something on here a while ago about it (I think it's called confusing brown discharge) and I got a few responses. You might try searching for that and looking at the responses. Good luck!
Thanks for the advice i hope all goes well for you too!
go and see a doctor best of luck
