Hi...I'm sorry that was a typo, lol!!  He told me that I have a sensitive cervix  It is vascular and bled when he touched it with a q-tip so imagine what happens when I have sex.  It doesn't happen to me during orgasm.  It happens on contact.  I have been through an extensive gynocological work up and not a thing comes back abnormal, which is good.  However, I'm pretty sure my boyfriend is freaked out, and I just want to have sex normally again....He tested me for von Willibrands Disease, a clotting disorder, but I don't bleed from anywhere else on my body!! This is a horrible problem, and I hope that we can all resolve it...Also I have had a cervical biopsy and cryosurgery in the past 2 years , but he says that doesn't cause bleeding.

Hi everyone. I too am experiencing a similar thing. I only took Microgynon for about 2 and 1/2 months because i started experiencing bleeding during intercourse . . . and it wasn't rough at ALL either. I'm getting scared because I thought I was fine and just had two periods close together. But now i've been noticing that every time i have an orgasm I bleed heavily for a while and it's not like a normal period bleeding but more thick and clumpy. I stopped taking them a month or so ago and i'm still having bleeding problems. I'm going to talk to my doctor but I'm not sure they are going to be able to help me either. I do think that all of you really need to talk to a doctor. Don't be scared or embarrassed about it .  . your health is more important than your fear, don't ya think?

Do you guys have problems with bleeding after an orgasm (including masturbation) as well or is this just during sex? Both have happened to me so i'm very curious.

And to jennymd27 . . . what is sv eyoui gensitive cervix??

Let me know what you all find out. Thanks!!

I have the same problem.  I bleed a fair amount EVERY time I have sex.  I have been for 6 months now.  I have been to the gyno 3 times. I have had cultures, 3 pap smears, 2 ultrasounds, multiple pelvic exams, an HPV test, and a colposcopy.  All negative.  I have been on two rounds of antibiotics for "inflammation", still bleeding. Stopped using birth control pills, still bleeding.  My gyno has no idea what could be causing this. He said I could have developed a sv eyoui gensitive cervix.  Have you girls learned anything new? It really makes me sad that I can;t have sex like a normal person....
