Bleeding after intercourse

What would cause vaginal bleeding after(and possibly during) intercourse? This is light bleeding and spotting, and dryness is not an issue. This has never happened before until the last two weeks. My age is 49 and I am not yet menopausal.

Iv just started seeing another man tht is large in the down below area. Every time we have intercourse I bleed a bit. Im small down there so could this be due to his size. Iv never had this before but I have never had anyone this big. It dose not hurt after or anything just bleeds a bit.

Please help

Thanks-I do have an appt. in a couple weeks. Lots of cancer in my family-so it's always in the back of my mind.

Actually, my partner and I have been together for 5 years, so, in answer to your question, yes, he is large but this is something new to me.

You should seek out the advice of your doctor anytime there is a change like this.  You can have an irritation or polyp on your cervix that can be causing it.

Nothing to fool around with--see your doctor.

not to be too personal but is your partner "large"? or was he being "rough"?
I have had 2 partners in my life and one was particularly large and this happened to me. i noticed i was spotting afterwards.

I don't know if this is true/not and hopefully someone can vouch for this, but can't bleeding occur if there is arousal/climax in some woman?
