Bleeding during sex

I have been bleeding during sex for years. My doctor can not figure out the problem. 2 years ago I had a uterine hysteroscopy with d@c and he removed 2 polyps. I just had the same procedure last week and he found nothing wrong. I am frustrated and don't know what to do. Any help ?

Hi.  The bleeding has been ongoing and not after the procedure last week (as in the procedure caused the bleeding?)?  Some women have a condition with their cervix where they have cells growing differently (cells protrude outward on the lining)--  it's called cervical ectropion.  Infections can cause bleeding (but you'd likely have other symptoms).  Endometriosis can cause bleeding during sex. If you have a very low level of estrogen, some women have bleeding (related to lubrication), a fibroid tumor, etc.  I assume you've had a pap smear to detect any lesions on the cervix as well?

Yes, the Dr has checked for them all. Is there anything that can be done to the cells?
