Boil or not?

I have an inflamed area on the outside of my vigina.  I think it might be a boil, because I get boils on my inner thighs.  Is this possible and how do you get rid of it?

I agree with Sabrina, it is painful but gets it over with quicker. Or you could soak in the tub.  There are also creams available.  I have one called Stev-o, comes from the doctor.

Take a wash cloth and run under hot water. As hot as you can stand and then put on the inflamed area.  This will at least bring it to the surface.  Sound painful.  Hope this helps.

You don't say where exactly the inflamed are is, but look up Bartholin's cyst and see if that would apply.
