My Little Boy Is Near 8 Months And From I've Had Him I've Been Expericing These Air/Bubbles It's Absoulty Awful :( When I Mentioned It To My Doctor & Midwife & Healthvisitor They Just Looked At Me As If I Was Loosing It To Be Honest, It's The Most Uncomfortable Thing I've Had To Live With Ever!
Hi, I have the bubbles, that do come out as air, and the sound is so embarrassing, thank god its when I wake up in the mornings to go pee,(usally my husband is still asleep lol) but thats usally the only times it happens...I wonder if it's b/c of my labor and delivery with my son almost 1year ago, was in labor for 48hrs, pushed for 6, then only to have an emergency c-section!! and to top it all off there was prolasped cord. They torn me on the right side of the incision trying to hurry up and get him out ( not so sure if the tear has anything to do with bubbles/air as much as the delivery.... Please tell me Im not the only one ??
What you're experiencing could possibly be a recto-vaginal fistula (maybe just a small one). You can look it up on widipedia to learn more and you might be able to get it repaired with a little surgery.
I had my baby 4 months ago and have been wondering about the air/bubbles too. From what i've read it seems normal after having a baby and now i know i just need to strenghten my pelvic floor muscle.
Please help me I'm 19 and I was sheltered I don't know anything but I'm shure this isn't supposed to be happening:(
I umm don't hav bubbles I have a lot of air coming out. Idk y. I have had my baby july 26 I was a virgin and than got prego I've only been with this one guy but I let him do anal sex to me than I had a lot of air not bubbles air go in an out of me. I feel awful
my dear, i tought it was only me... i have 3 lovely kids, i had 2csections and the last was a vargina birth....but ever since then have not really been my self, i have to be careful with the way i walk, the way i sit and the way i lay on bed.....cos this horrible gas is ready find its way into my vargina...sometimes when am not carefull it just comes in with a full speed and come out when i change my position with a very loud noise(embarrasing).could it be because of the vargina birth, or because my baby was big during birth or could it be cos of the tear....i can't say i just which it stops at the ealiest.
Just thought I would post a follow-up I went to the GUM clinic just to rule out B.V, I was told I did not have B.V but the doctor told me that the bubble feeling is quite common post baby and it is a sign of a weakened pelvic floor. She recommended to lose half a stone and to do pelvic floor exercises and if this didn't help to ask the doctor to refer me to a gynacologist at the hospital. I will try the pelvic floor and losing weight bit first and if this doesn't help I will go to the doctor. Hope this is of interest to anybody else worrying about this problem.
Thank you for the reply! I'm glad I'm not the only one, doesn't it drive you mad?! it does me. Sometimes I wonder if I was stitched correctly (the midwife did them with the doctor instructing).
The bubble feeling for me never seems to 'pop' it just sits there, until it eventually goes. The worst time is at night in bed, trying to get comfortable, sometimes I stick a cotton wool ball in my vagina entrance and this seems to help.
I also wonder if it is the discharge I can feel filtering down the vagina, but why would I be so sensitive? I definitely think the bubble feeling is connected to the discharge. I can't imagine feeling like this forever; I really hope it goes away. Thank god for the Internet because it seems to be the only place where I can find information about this (it doesn't mention this in any of my postnatal books!) I also wonder how common this is after birth?
Hi i get the same thing,
from what ive read on here it must be normal. My son is 18 weeks old now, ive had tests and they all came back negative...im thinking of asking for a smear to be performed so that i can be cleared of everything.it will put my mind at rest. Ive been so worried thinking it wasnt normal and i was the only one experiencing it!
mine sort of like pop out sometimes when i sit down and when im walking around...and also i have increased discharge. although the discharge has settled abit these past weeks.
i feel so relieved im not on my own experiencing this!!!!
