Butt bleeding

I am 17 years old and ive been recently diagnosed with genital herpes. For the past 3 days ive been bleeding from my butt when i poop. Ive looked up everything i can and im desperate for someone to talk to about this stuff. Im not close to my mother and she does not know that i have herpes. I dont have any pain except when i begin to poop i thought it was just a cut because this has happened before just not as much blood. i really need to know what i need to do to find out what it is. please help me!

It sounds like it could be fissures. If it hurts then they are probably not internal hemorrhoids as you normally don't feel those. You need to be examined to rule out that the herpes is not also in your rectum. If it's fissures there are some conservative methods you can try yourself at home. High fiber, tons of water, keep your stools soft and hopefully they will heal on their own. Please known that anytime you are bleeding from your backside you really really need to go to the doctor.

The bleeding from your rectum could be hemorrhoids, but it could also be something more seriously, such as a gi bleed. Is the blood bright red and fresh, or dark and sort of old looking? How much?
