hi pammy
i cant wait to atleast get started and get this over with i guess i just hate having to wait so long before getting started and get some answers of what it can be if serious or if nothing to worry about i've been trying to keep busy just so i won't think about it. the pains on and off i stopped wearing the wired bras and i started useing sports bras instead to see if the pain will ease it helps a little i havent had any soda or sweets either i'm going to try to make some changes to see if it helps. i don't understand why the lumps would start to hurt like that i usally get a slight pain every now and then but not like that i couldn't even touch my left breast without wanting to cry and i knew some thing was wrong and i still hate not knowing anything i just dont understand why my breast would start hurting like that now? like the doctor found lumps in my right breast but i have no pain or discomfort in my right breast so i don't understand why my appointments on the 1st so i'll keep you updated thank you so much
talk to yous later

Good, I'm glad this helped.  Wait until you have to start getting mammograms and they say "We need you to come back, we saw something."  There are practically no words to console you until they say, "Never mind, it was nothing." errrrr.

I had my first mammogram and ultrasound at 18 due to those uncommon lumps. Truth is any female of reproductive age can get lumps and it's nothing. You might also learn when they do the ultrasound that you have "ropie" tissue that can also feel like tiny lumps as well.

thank you so much ive read your comments and i really feel alot better.
Pammy i do eat alot of chocolate and i like to drink icy tea alot i didnt know that could have an effect like that i'm going to change the way i eat stop eating so much junk food and start eating healthy.
Silver i also had these lumps since i could remember and i always had pain on and off but i thought it was normal until i saw a growth on my left breast and it hurt so bad  t i went to the doctor and she told me about the other lumps i told her i've always had them so now i'm just waiting so i can find out what it can be til then i'm going to take the advise given and try to make some changes see what happens i'll keep yous updated and thank yous soooo much it helps to be able to talk about it

i am 23 now, and have had "fibrocystic changes" since i was about 16..just feels like little lumps all over..at 16 they said it wasnt that common, but it does happen, now at 23 at my last gyn appt, she checked and they are still there..and nothing to worry about. Like pammy said..dont get yourself all worked up..easier said then done, i know. But no use in stressing about it until you have the testing done and get your results!! Remember even if they do find a lump, it does not mean its cancerous!! My mom has had quite a few lumps, and they have all turned out to be tiny cysts, that shes had to have aspirated, no big deal.  Goodluck and i hope things turn out well for you!!

OK, first of all, calm down... :).  They are probably just cysts that can and do develop in the breasts and some can be quite painful, especially right before your period.  My daughter has very large breasts and when she was only 16 she began having these.  Doctor told her to cut down on her caffeine and chocolate intake (she used to drink a lot of Mountain Dew).  When she did, they didn't bother he as bad.  Does any of this sound a little familiar?  Maybe this will help until you get it checked out.
