Can i still be pregnant even though test negative

I am 8 days late for my period so decided to take a home pregnancy test today which turned out negative.  Is there still a chance i could be pregnant.  How accurate are these test? Has anyone else been in a similar situation and found that they were in fact pregnant even though test negative?

YES, you CAN be pregnant and STILL do a pregnancy test and it come back saying NEGATIVE. The pregnancy hormones (that is if you are pregnant) may not be strong enough or you could simply have tested too early or you may not be pregnant at all. BUT the only SURE way to know is if you go to a doctor, request a blood test, as well as let your nurse or doctor (or both for safe measures lol) know any sort of symptoms you are having (if any). Blood tests are the most accurate way of knowing. & if there is even a chance you are pregnant, you really do need to make an appointment for your doctor because the sooner you know the better, and the more confident you can be/feel about your baby's health and correct development. All expecting mothers know that you worry about every little thing that is going on with your body and are nervous throughout the whole 9 months of your pregnancy about your baby even if the doctor assures you that everything is going good with the baby, you STILL WORRY. That is a motherly instinct that you just cant help. So like I said, the sooner you find out, the quicker you can start taking prenatal vitamins, get healthy, change anything bad in your diet, etc.... So my answer is yes, you can be pregnant and fail at home pregnancy test, go to your doctor and get the blood test done. Please! For YOU and your peace of mind and possibly your unborn child! :) Good luck to you all.

I'm five days late. I'm on birth control and take them regularly. My bf came inside of me twice and I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative. Should I begin the pill on Friday like usual even if I haven't started? I don't feel different and it'd be extremely unlikely to be preggo, right?

im on the pill loestrin 20 but three weeks ago was on strong antibiotics for kidney infection now im 5 days late for my period and feel sick dizzy headaches etc but done 4 hpt and all neg i dont no wot to fink i got 4 kuds so i no im feeling pregnant

I missed my period last month on the 1st And its the first today. Still no period or no signs of pregnancy . 2 Month no period am i pregnant or can it be Another reason ? If so , iM 17 do you think i should have it ?????

MY LAST PERIOD WAS ON JULY 21ST, 2013 IT LASTED FOR 5 DAYS-I TOOK 2 DOLLAR TREE TESTS BOTH CAME OUT POSITIVE-TOOK 7 MORE MIDSTREAM TESTS ALL CAME BACK NEGATIVE AND AN E.P.T. TEST IT CAME BACK NEGATIVE-SO, I WENT AND TOOK A BLOOD TEST AND IT CAME BACK NEGATIVE.COULD ALL THE OTHER TESTS BE WRONG? MY BREASTS ARE SWOLLEN,A LITTLE BIT OF NAUSEA WITHOUT THROWING UP,SENSITIVE NIPPLES,SWOLLEN STOMACH,MY BACK HURTS,AND TIRED ALL THE TIME.I RECENTLY PURCHASED A FETAL DOPPLER AND WHERE I FELT LIKE SOMETHING WAS MOVING IN MY STOMACH I RAN IT OVER THE SPOT AND THE HEARTBEAT CAME UP AND IT READ 146-WHAT CAN IT BE? JUST FOR MY SANITY I WOULD LOVE FOR MY DR. TO TAKE A SONOGRAM BUT,IT HAS TO COME OUT POSITIVE AT THE OFFICE SO,THEY'LL GO AHEAD AND DO 1-HAS EVERYONE ELSE EVER BEEN IN THE SAME BOAT? Im late i was possed to git my period anywhere from sep13-17  n its the 27 so round 14days late give or take a few days..ive been streessin on when its goina git here..i took two home pts n went to docter n took one all three were neg. Can i still b prego? O yea for a week or so i felt like i was goina start but when i checked it was clear discharge..n i had mild crampin but it went away..i always have regular periods.. I dont think i have anysymptoms..no sore boobs.no mornin sickness..idk but lately i been wantin brisk iced tea everyday..n shouldnt i have n idea of wats its like to b prego caz i was 4months prego almost 5months ago but i had a miscariage..so shouldnt i kinda know wat to expect?? Mayb im hopin im prego..n thats y it hasnt came?? I wanna git blood work done but i called n i told them the situation n they said i should git another urine done.but i dont want that..i wanna know pretty bad n a blood test would confirm it..does anyone think that me havin a miscariage almost 5months ago could effect anything like that?? PLEASE ANYONE W ADVICE OR KNOWLEDGE FILL ME N..COMMENTS OR ANYTHING HELPS!!!
