Can you get a disease or infection from touching someones underwear?

So Im 8 months pregnant and I have a lady that comes to help me out a bit in the house. She has been working for a couple of months. She sometimes washes her clothes at my house.  She left for the holidays and forgot a bag at my house,I didnt know it was hers so I was looking inside to see what was inside and I grabbed some of her clothes including a pair of panties ( underwear). I havent noticed anything but I cant be sure if she has something. I washed my hands immediately but I am now wondering if you can get anything from touching someone elses underwear?

I agree that it's not dangerous to touch someone's underwear.  You won't catch a disease that way.  :>)  good luck
