My last period 5/16. I had sex twice during ovulation June 2-3. From June 5, I got pinkies spotting for a week. My ObGyn told me, it could be hormone changes. Then I did not get my period until today. When I did home test on 6/19, result was negative. I tried again 6/26, result was positive. I went to my ObyGyn on 7/11. He said the baby is too small and ask me to come back 3 weeks later. I start having spotting on 7/16 until today 7/20. I went to my Dr. on 7/18 and he sent me to hospital for ultrasound. They said my embrio is too small. Instead of having size of 9 weeks, my embrio as small as 5 weeks old. And they found a blood clog and small cyst. My ObGyn ask me to come back next week and see if embrio is growing otherwise we have to take it out. Why the baby size is so small? Is there a dangerous problem with the baby? Is having cyst and blood clog during pregnancy will effect fetal development/baby? If I keep the baby, what would happen? Is the baby can be born and grow up healthy? What should I do?

I think you ovulated later than you think.  The fact that you had a negative pregnancy test on June 19, the smaller size of the embryo, and the slower heart rate all point to a pregnancy that is 5 weeks and not 9 weeks.  If that is so, then there is nothing wrong with your pregnancy at all.

Thanks. Is that possible that ovulation 1 month late? Considering the big size diffrent of my embryo. Does anyone having same problem like me? I can sleep every night. Cant wait until next week too.

Go back next week and see if the embryo is growing, as your Ob said.  If it is, there is the possibility that you just ovulated later than you thought.  I will hope for you that this is what happened.  Good luck!
