I was told that I had the hpv virus about two years ago. Then recently I was told that i may have hsv type 2, also. My one and only partner ever has been viewed by 3 doctors who told him that he was fine, and that he has never had any outbreaks or problems. I recently had a scraping done from small blisters that were in my vaginal area and i wanted to know if it were possible for the lab to mistake the hpv virus for the hsv virus under the microscope, meaning that the virus that was isolated from the scraping was really the hpv and they just assumed that it was hsv instead?
