I'm new to having cramps

I normally never ever have cramps before, during, or after my period. But in the pass week or so I've been having small or medium cramps, and I'm kind of freaked out. Is it possible for one to develop the cramps over time? I've never had sex or unprotected sex. I know it may not be a big deal but the help is thanked!

Don't be worried! Cramps are normal. I didn't get cramps for a whole year after having my period and when I did they hit me hard. But u learned to drink lots of water and make sure I was eating because it does help. I also recommend taking Advil or midol when you first start to feel them so that it kicks in before the pain gets any worse. It's nothing to worry about just relax yourself when you feel them coming on and do little things that could decrease the amount of pain you feel!
