Curious about pregnancy tests
So I had unprotected sex the 3rd the 4th and the 10th and 19th of this month with my boyfriend. I'm not taking any birth control but we've been using the pull out method, yes, I know it's not the safest. I took a pregnancy test on the 12th because my friend wanted to make sure I wasn't pregnant and it came out negative. I have been getting cramps just like I normally do right before a period but I'm 2 days late. I took a test just yesterday the 22nd and I think it wasn't working because it was very faint and I wasn't sure if it was a positive but I'm considering that it is. I'm wondering whether we got pregnant from the beginning of the month the 10th or 19th? I have never quite understood how the pregnancy tests work. But I'm confused as to why it came out negative on the 12th, it's more of a curiosity thing. I've yet to tell him. I don't know how he will take the news. We will see! Thanks for your help! :)

So I thought I would let you know I took a clearblue pregnancy test and in fact I am pregnant according to the test I am 1-2 weeks pregnant. Now to decide what I should do. I'm confused and unsure what I want to do now. I guess I need to talk it over with my boyfriend and figure it out thanks a ton for your help :) oh and yes we've been tested and nothing wrong no stds thanks :)
Thank you. I believe it comes every 29 days at least that's how it has been the past couple of months. I got my last one on the 23rd of January. I think I will retake it again and like you said wait to tell him if it comes out positive. Thanks so much for your help. I will definitely let you know how it goes! :)

Ok, if you are 2 days late today for your period, then it was due the 21st I'm assuming. What are your cycles, do you know? Meaning does your period come every 28, 30, 32, 34 days? You would need to know that to know when you ovulate - which usually happens around the middle of your cycle. Assuming your last period started around the 21st of January, all the dates you mentioned you had sex above could have gotten you pregnant except for maybe the 19th of this month. The 10th puts you right in the middle of your cycle. I would re-take the pregnancy test again using first morning urine if possible. The 12th could have been too early to take the test. I wouldn't say anything to your boyfriend until you know for sure, no sense in two of you worrying :) Good luck and please let us know how it goes!
