Pregnant? no.. so whats wrong with me??

I had a miscarriage mid September. I never had sex afterwards although convinced myself that sperm on my hands after I'd gone to the bathroom had got me pregnant again (my clothes were on the whole time) lol.. I've taken numerous pregnancy tests that have all said negative its been almost 7 weeks since I was last even in the slightest way intimate with my boyfriend simply due to the fact I never want to get pregnant again. I started my pill the day we actually did anything and I've been bleeding for the last 13 days (maybe down to the pill I am on) my tummy feels uncomfortable constantly mainly on the left hand side. I don't feel sick at all but am peeing more. Please someone give me some answers.

Hi there.  Sorry about the miscarriage although it sounds like it was an unplanned pregnancy and like it is a relief that you are not having a baby.  Did you go for the check up after the miscarriage?  Docs usually want to see a patient afterward around 5 or 6 weeks after to make sure all is fine.

No, you aren't pregnant but the bleeding for that many days straight while on the pill would be a reason to see the doctor.  That's not typical.  so, I'd see your doctor to determine why you are bleeding/spotting so much.  good luck

It was unplanned. I'm 18 and had just started university. It was a relief yeah but I am also hurting from it too. I've had bloods done, xrays, urine samples everything and everything is coming back normal. The pains are all in my head is what I'm thinking because I constantly think about it all. I am going for an emergency appointment in the morning and the doctor will probably ring me this evening as my sister has an appt and she will bring it up again. I think I need a scan to see that everything is ok. Thank you
