Feelings in my stomach

c_r
I've been on birth control for a couple of years, but I have to admit I miss a couple pills every pack or so.(I always make it up though)My last period was a few weeks ago was only a couple days long and was VERY light and dark colored...kind of brownish. I've been having some strange feelings in my stomach. It feels like a weak menstral ache for just a few seconds here and there and then it goes away. I haven't taken any birth control for the last 3 weeks but haven't had any break through bleeding (which I usually have if I miss even 3 days in a row). I am sexually active and I don't know if it could be a pregnancy or if it's another problem. I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative though. Someone PLEASE PLEASE help. I go to the doctor in a couple weeks and would like to know something before then. Thanks!

I didn't get my b/c this time around because of insurance and financial reasons. I don't think I am pregnant, I mean I don't have any symptoms except for not having a period. I haven't had a period since the last sunday in SEPT. was when I started the last one. What I had in last time would not be classified as a period. I should have started my period yesterday but still haven't...and there are no signs as of yet that it's coming. I do go to the GYN for my yearly Thurs. I just wish I knew what was going on before I got in that office. :(

you should have bled again after you stopped the pills. If you still haven't gotten a period, you should probably see a doc, or take a home pregnancy test.

I guess I'm just kind of worried because I usually start spotting if I miss just a couple of pills. I haven't taken them in around 3 weeks and still haven't had even the slightest sign of a period. I only had the very irregular (only lasted a couple of days, was very light, and was brownish blood/discharge) period 3 weeks ago and I was still taking the pills at that time.

If you miss more than 2 pills you are pretty much done till next month, meaning that you need a backup.  So if you are missing so much, it probably is your body adjusting.  I know mine is terrible off the pill.  Why have you been off for 3 weeks?  If you think you are pregnant I would go see a Dr. and find out, I would them resume b/c to prevent any accidents, unless you want to get pregnant.  Sounds like you may want to try another form of b/c though.  As for the tests, mine have always been right on, but sometimes it can take a few days being late to show up for some.  If you are late, go in and get you Dr. to test you, some women don't register on the hpt.  Good luck.

If you have stopped the pill and are still active, you should be using a backup method for birth control. the feelings in your stomache, are probably because your body is readusting to making its on hormones, and getting rid of the ones that were in your body. It is normal to have aches and pains on either/both sides of your pelvis because of your monthly cycle, at many different times of the month. You should be fine, but find another method if you don't want to get pregnant!! :)

There are alot of people that say a Pregnancy test can always be false.. For me however, its always been right. Ive been pregnant 3 times and those are the only 3 times ive ever had a positive result, all the other times it has been negative and they were always right! I have taken MANY MANY pg tests and never had a false result.
