Fingering DOES NOT cause pregnancy. The penis would need to come into contact with the vagina.
Her period is not late, and she's not pregnant due to fingering. If you guys have also had intercourse then obviously she could be pregnant from that, but not the fingering. Many things can cause a period to be late.
