Frequent period HELP!!!!!

I'm 24 yrs old and my periods have always been normal up until the last 6 or 7 months. I used to go every 28 days for about 4-5 days. The last 6 months I'm going twice a month. Very light. Sometimes cramping (thats normal though) Doc had said awhile back that he though I had hasimotos because of raised antibodies....hormone level was normal though. Iron was low so I was put on iron. Then there are times when I'll just spot, I mean like pen mark size a couple of times and then stop. It just off and on. Mainly though its every 2 weeks light. What could be causing this? Should I go to the doc and my BIG question is like I'm freaking out about losing too much blood...like I know it sounds like a weird question but How long does it take to lose TOO much blood?? ): Please help! Thanks

Unless you are filling up super-plus tampons or a pad hourly, and for weeks on end,  then it won't be an issue. Blood always looks worse in loss than it really it is.

You may well have Hashimoto's disease. I had similar problems and it was an undiagnosed thyroid disorder. Insist on thyroid tests and you might need medication for it.

Thanks for your comment. (: I have been going like this for a couple months but LIGHT but I was worried that its been MONTHS? But I do appreciate the encouragement. As in Hasimotos they said I DID have it, but just because my antibodies were raised....everything else looked fine. Kind of strange but thats what they said but I personally don't think their right. Thank you very much!
