Getting Preg. w/ use of Condoms

I still have not taken a Preg. test for those of you who have read my past 2 postings. But I was wondering if some of you ladies or friends of yours have gotten preg. while properly useing condoms. I am now over 2 weeks late with NO sign of AF. I mean no spotting, no nothing. But like I said in my last posting I had a baby 9 months ago and my last period was late but not this late. Thoughts?

Ok I just got back from the store and took the test. It says neg. soooooo I guess I wait a little longer to see if I start. If I don't than I'll call and make an appt. with my doctor. It's funny that even if you don't want to be preg., a neg. result is almost disappointing. Well I hope that this isn't a sign that something is serious wrong.

yeah, one thing that drives me crazy is when people post all desperate and worried and then you never hear what happens!

anything is possible after having a baby. our bodies change so drastically and hormones are all over the place. i dont think the cysts hurt? i am not 100% on that one but i know endometriosis does have symptoms of horrible cramps. some woman do not even know they have those ovarian cysts until they miss so many periods.
make some noise so your little one wakes up!!! hee hee.

My next wellness check up isn't until next year. I've already had my appointments for the year. If I had cysts or anything of that nature would there be some pain or some signs of something being wrong, other than no period. My friend developed cysts on her ovaries after having her baby and I remember her complaining about really bad cramping.
My doc's office may not schedule me to come in right away. They said that they don't get concerned about a missed period until it's been 3 months w/ no period. When I went in a month 1/2 ago the doc's said that everything looked fine. He did an internal exam. I think that I'd much rather be preg. again than for something to be wrong. I'm 25 and just had my 1st baby, I didn't think I could already be having issues. As soon as my son wakes up from napping, I'll go get a test.

yes, it is strange (only because you were regular for a few months). you didnt say anything about your well visit?/when?

i wonder if you are developing some polyps, cysts on your ovaries. sometimes that is the case when there is no period.

STEPS OF ACTION....LOL
1. go buy a hpt just to rule in/rule out.
2. post here with results..lol!
3. call your obgyn to get in
4. post again to keep us updated

No I'm not on any birth Control. I stopped my birth control pill 4 months before I got preg. with my son. Since having him, me and my husband have been using only condoms. The condoms we are using do not have any spermicid either. I just figured that we would just use condoms until my son is about 3 and then we were going to try to have another baby. I thought I could definitely not get preg. using a condom everytime. I think that I am going to just go and buy a test today. This is starting to drive me crazy :) What do you think? I should be starting, shouldn't I? It's now 14 days late and NO sign of it.

honestly, i dont think you are pregnant but you do sound very worried and dont try to hide it by saying you're not!! LOL!!

are you breastfeeding right now? you said you have a 9 mo old. have your periods been regular since your birth? its not all that unlikey for periods to be "screwy" soon after childbirth. if you do take a hpt, (just to ease your mind) it will give you an accurate result since you are 2 wks late.

take a test so you can quit worrying yourself.
If you are pregnant your husband shouldn't "freak" - he was a willing participant.
Good luck!

my bf and I find that condoms take too much of the sensation away. can you use them and still get max pleasure?>? is there a special kind of condom one can try? I've tried a couple of different extra thin ones and I find they don't make much of a difference

Im with you on that...condoms really take all sensation away, we've tried almost all of them and the only ones that i kind of liked were lyfestyles thin, it still feels like there is a condom but they are very thin! it broke one time! never happened with any of the other ones...but I guess broken condoms are not that common we are just lucky!

I guess I've always been confused by the women who say a condom takes away the pleasure.  I personally never noticed that it did, so this is a tough question for me to answer.  Maybe if it's not snug enough on your man, it's slipping and sliding and that's distracting?  I'm sorry, I'm not sure.

We just used Trojans and the only complaint was that I don't like ribbed.

So that "ribbed for her pleasure" is cr@p?

:-)  Maybe I'm just overly sensitive, but those ribs begin to irritate me.

But not during sex.  Too messy.  Stick with raw liver.

Okay, good luck.

When you said "I'm kind of scared to know if I am or not. I have a 9 month old and my husband would freak." I took that to be stressful.

Good luck on Sept. 1st if you don't get your period.

probably something you want to use with someone you are monogamous with!? although I'm sure all condoms pose a risk of breaking.......as long as they stay intact, it's all good!
