Period Question?

I'm 14 years old, and haven't started my period yet. About 6 months ago I thought I had started my period becuase it started and I had a period for 5 days. But then the next month no period or the month after that. Then 2 months ago I started again and had a period for 5 days. But then the month after that no period again or this month. I'm just really confused? Is my period just really irregular or something. When will it become regualr? I hope this question wasn't confusing it was kind've heard to explain.

Things can be a little confusing at first and can be a little all over the place hopefully over the coming months things will calm down and you should start to get a period every 3/ 4 weeks, if you dont it might be a good idea just to have a chat with your doctor but i dont think its anything to panic about the body it a strange and complex thing and sometimes it is very confusing !

Usually the first year after a girl gets her period for the first time, her cyrcle is quite irregular. However, you should talk to your parents about this problem and visit an endocrinologist to check your hormone levels, just in case. Good Luck

It can take a while for your hormones to regulate your menstral cycle. If you are not sexually active then I wouldn't worry about it just now. If it lasts more than a year then I would get your mom to schedule a visit to the OBGYN's office. Hope this helps.
