unprotected sex while on the pill

i recently had sex with my girlfriend and she was on the pill for a week, i know i have heard that it works only after the first month of taking the pill, but if i had sex with her only between six to eight days from her normal period and those days that she started the pill. How likely am I that my girlfriend get pregnant.

It is a possiblity, but you would need her to take a test to make sure. Doctors prefer you be on your pills for a month before having unprotected sex just to make sure that it is working at full strengh. I would say she had some protection but whether it was enough or not can only be told by a test.

When initiating birth control pills, it is best to assume you are not protected until you have taken the pills for an entire cycle correctly.
