amenorrhea

I am 20 years old and have not had a period for almost a year. I have seen a doctor about this and have been tested for many things including thyroid disorders, pituitary problems genetic tests and hormone imbalances. I have somewhat low estrogen (29) for my age and somewhat high FSH (18). I do not have any other issues than these either. I don't know if this will definitely lead me to early menopause and other health problems or if not having a period really isn't that big of a deal. I do not have any other symptoms other than not having a period either. I also am not excessively thin and weigh around 128 lbs and I am about 5'3 nor do I have PCOS. My doctor also had prescribed me medroxyprogesterone and I do not want to take it. I am not a big fan of taking any type of medication but doctor has suggested that I take it. I have even read things that not having period isn't that big of a deal. I also, am not planning on being pregnant and having kids. Is not having a period really that much of a concern?
