What creams have you tried? With Tristan I tried a bunch of different treatments, the ones that worked best were witch hazel and anusol. If the bleeding is heavy, I would get in to be seen.
TMI, but my grandfather was a truck driver for years and frequently had to have his lanced. Mine never got that far, but they did last a lot longer than 3-4 days. Mine didn't go away until after delivery.

To add to AndiJ's post my SIL had them and also used the witch hazel, she said that worked for her. Good luck!!
Sweetie i think it all depends on if they are internal or external.I dont think any creams will work if they are internal, but my sister had them after delivery and the witch hazel pads worked really well for her.
i use witch hazel tucks and they burn really bad... and i went to the dr and she said looked at them and said she would prefer not to clip them but she can if they get worse... they haven't gotten worse just not a whole lot better.
oh yeah... they are internal.
They will last for weeks after you deliver. Mine lasted for years until I had surgery.
:O I'm 16wks away from delivery.
I had my child 3 years ago...and I guess hemorrhoids are something that I will have forever!!! They tend to flare up more at some times than others, but I hope that you can find relief. If you can go to a colon doc, he can give you some prescription cream that will help..mine had to be "compounded" at a compounding pharmacy. I will check the name, and get back to you. Good luck--

Thank you that would be very nice of you.
To help ease the pain during bowels, you can take a stool softner. It's on the 'safe' medication list for pregnancy, and it dosnt make you cringe at the thought of going poo. :-)
Much like the sound effects of Psycho. lol. NNNNOOOOOOOOO!
Here is what I have on my list...
Metamucil, Fiber, Colace or products containing psyllium
Stool softeners with a laxative: Pericolace, Senokot, or Milk of Magnesia.
I know they're for constipation, but atleast you wont have to push as hard and get hurt by the hemmies. :-)
Good luck with that,
Jen
Tuck's medicated pads work well. If you have time, try alternating the pads with and a bag or exam glove with ice. That works well.
I just realized I have an external hemorrhoid. I thought it was protruding out but it is on the very edge of the anal opening. It actually hangs down about a 1/4" to a 1/2". Its like a string that looks like it easily could be cut off. It is really a cleanliness thing with me. It only hurts once in a while. I was going to get it checked to see if I could get it lanced or cut off. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of hemorrhoid? Thank you for your help.
hi..i also have the same thing like yours.with the same size. i had it checked by the doctor and she said i have nothing to worry about because it is not thrombotic and advised me to have a fiber diet. it is painful at times but it doesnt bother me now because it does not get bigger.
