It sounds very much like a thyroid imbalance. Run it all by your doctor and see what s/he thinks. A simple blood test could rule it out.
Thanks Ireneo, but i recently had my thyroid tested and they came back normal the only abnormal thing was my insulin levels were a bit high
Well, shoot. It's obvious something is out of whack. It's more than the usual post-pregnancy stuff. I grew extra hair during pregnancy then lost it after the birth of my children. But you're 15 months out from delivery. Have they done a transvaginal ultrasound too to check your ovaries? Keep pushing for answers. You have to be your own advocate sometimes and that's hard.
Hi! I've been struggling with the same issue as you. About 4 yrs ago I had a late term mis and almost 3 years ago my son was born. I nursed for 6 months and when I finished nursing him my hormones went wacky. I have had horrible headaches, feel edgy and moody, bad periods and I stain and cramp a lot mid month. I feel down too and have sweating issues. I used to have insomnia at times My ob-gyn had tried several Birth Control Pills and the one that I am on now Yasmin seems to help but after two months of good, I had a bad month. The ob told me that its not entirely uncommon and that a lot of women suffer from this. I only rrealized how bad the problem was 1/2 years ago and the various Pills tried took time, but I am slowly improving. If you have any further ideas, I'd love to hear them/
