Menstruation been going on for a month. HELP!

I'm 17 and my period won't stop, its been a month since it started. I'm having a really light period, i took birth control pills but it didn't word. What should i do? I'm afraid to visit my doctor again to know what's really wrong with me. please help me.

How long have you being taking the pills for? And it may be the type of birth control pill that you are taking causing this so you may just want to call your Dr and set up a consultation because only he/she can really advise you wants going on.

It is not likely to be cancer.  You might have a cyst or something.  There are many better procedures now.  There is nothing to be afraid of except not getting it taken care of.   If you let it go on, you will get more and more anemic and you won't be getting blood and oxygen to the brain.  It takes a while to recover from anemia.  Go to the gynecologist ASAP.
