Actually no. You will NOT have a period. Just because you bleed doesn't make it a period. It means you bled. A period is where you shed the uterine lining that builds up to support a fertilized egg. You shed this while pregnant, you miscarry.

As for if you're pregnant, it's possible. Unless you've seen the paperwork from a doctor, you can never assume someone is sterile. Take a pregnancy test with first morning urine, or see a doctor for blood work. In the future, always use protection from start to finish.

I will add on thing and correct what someone else said- you can have a period during pregnancy. I had a friend that during pregnancies of 2 of her kids she has normal periods throughout. It is possible although unlikely and the only way to not risk pregnancy is to not have sex'.... Or get with a guy that has been fixed for more than a cpl months and know he shoots blanks' other than that there is nothing out there that you can't get pregnant on-

unprotected sex with any guy, sterile or not, is always a risk of something. pregnancy, sti's...theres always something to worry about so first ill say if this guy wasnt just a one time hook up, still use protection until you see for yourself hes at least infection free.

next, many guys are diagnosed sterile but still end up able to get their wives, girlfriends, random one night hook ups pregnant. there are different levels of sterility and he may have been told it will be hard for him to have children because he doesnt have many swimmers actually alive in there, but that never means it cant happen.

the bleeding you got could be your period or it could be implantation bleeding. my advice? dont worry, stay relaxed, note when that bleeding was, and take a home test and check the results. if it says negative, it might be too early to detect via urine but it could just plain be negative. either wait another week and take a second test (use first morning urine) or schedule an early visit with your lady doctor and have her do a blood test to confirm either way.

hope this helps!

If your period was normal/how it always is, then you are not pregnant. You can't have a period while you are pregnant. If your period seemed off or different than normal, then you might be pregnant and that was just bleeding that occurs during pregnancy. If that is the case, take a home pregnancy test to find out. Also, how do you know this guy is "sterile"? Unless it has been confirmed by his doctor through testing, and you know this for a fact, then I wouldn't trust his word about being supposedly sterile. Hope it goes well.
