I've have had profuse sweating everyday, off and on throughout the day.  It started with claminess well over a year ago.   I thought it was from low sugar attacks, but as time went on I noticed it would happen when my glucose level was good, high, or low.  My friends kept telling me 'you are so clamy, what's going on'.  Then six months ago, the sweating began.............from the top of my head, to down my legs.  I don't wear a bra around the house, and change gowns throughout the and often have to change my bedding because the sheets are soaked.  I sweat when it's hot, as well as when it's cold.  I rarely leave the house anymore, and never go out without my husband or close friend.  I often feel faint, confused, helpless and embarrassed.  My primary doctor more or less blew off my problem, and told me to come back in three months.  I saw a endro. doctor, who said he only specializes in thyroid diseases and diabetes, and 'knows nothing about sweating'.  Can you believe that one??  Sweating IS part of diabetes AND thyroid disease isn't it?  I don't know where to go from here, but if something is found to help me soon...............well, life is just not worth it.

When this started...was it bothering you everywhere.
I suffered from hyperhydrosis for years....I finally got my sweat glands removed...
best thing I have ever done re it.
The surgery was brutal and the recovery was months as I didn't heal well.
Nowadays...there are botox shots etc..that you can get for this condition.
But yours does sound like more.
Did it progressively get worse as you got older?
Does or did menopause make it more extreme.
Sorry I'm not too helpful...but you could get your hormones checked and then maybe go from there.
My problem was only under my arms...but most def a severe case.
Good Luck!
