I have vaginal discharge and I'm scared

Helloo. I'm experiencing vaginal discharge. Currently, It's yellowish, sometimes with a green undertone. The smell isn't really foul. Its has a very little amount, but it concerns me. I would check myself in front of a mirror and see that my vagina is reddish. A few months ago, the discharge is white. I noticed that it changes from time to time, and the smell was foul like cheese. I've been having this problem since I was 12. I was afraid to tell my mother what was going on. I was discovering parts of my body and I masturbated. I used a the handle of a comb to masturbate and eventually I knew that it was a mistake. This is really shameful to tell my mother because she might not understand that I was younger then and I didn't know what I was doing. Can anyone please tell me what possible infection/diseases I might have? Should I get tested?

Anyone can get a yeast infection and it is not shameful.  You never have to tell her the specifics of how you masturbated or even that you masturbated.  (although with a comb is not a great idea, ouch!).  You've had this problem since you are 12 though so it would be unrelated to that anyway.  Again, tell your mom as it is not shameful or weird to get a yeast infection--  all women get them.  A hallmark sign of an infection is a terrible foul (really bad) odor.  It doesn't sound like that. Discharge changes all the time for girls/women as hormones shift.  Bacterial vaginosis smells terrible and has a thin, grey watery discharge.  Yeast is clumpy and usually itches.  Colors vary.  But if you just have discharge that changes, that's really normal.

And you can't have ANY std as you haven't had sex.  (which is required for sexually transmitted diseases). good luck
