I haven't gotten my period in two months and I'm scared

I'm 17 and I haven't gotten my period in 2 months. I had light spotting a few weeks ago, which I thought was my period because I had cramps. I'm having cramps that feel like I'm going to get my period but it hasn't come. This has been happening for a few days. I'm a virgin so I can't be pregnant. I had bloodwork done very recently while I was in the hospital but everything came back normal. Right now I'm living with a friend so the only option for a doctor would be planned parenthood. Could it be from stress? I suffer from anxiety and chronic depression, and I have been overly stressed lately. Please help, thank you.

Don't forget that in your teen years your hormones are still fluctuating and trying to get straightened out. You're more susceptible to stress and environmental stuff around you. If this is the first time this has happened, it's likely stress or lifestyle related. Sounds like your body is still going through the motions, so this may just be one of those once in a while things. If the cramps aren't worse than usual and you don't have any kind of major pain, there is probably not a major issue, but it's something to watch. If you go another month without, a gynecologist should be in order, and planned parenthood isn't a bad option. They should be no less knowledgeable than anyone and should be able to get you straightened out fairly quickly. Just be sure to take note of anything out of the ordinary that may be going on physically or emotionally.
