Unexplained vaginal burning

For the past 4 years I have had unexplained vaginal burning. Sometimes with white pasty discharge. I've seen 5 gynecologists & they all do the normal cultures and they always come back negative. So if it's not yeast or BV, then what? They all give up after the initial tests. I've also been tested for STDs, Herpes Simplex, and Strep. I asked the one Dr recently if I could have my hormones tested, wondering if this could be caused by a hormone imbalance. She refused because I am 37 with a normal cycle. I'm not on birth control either.

I sometimes become irritated on the outside, which I thought was caused by a discharge, but I noticed recently that my skin was chaffed but I really didn't notice a discharge, which makes me wonder if this could be dermatitis? But would that cause burning inside? Or only on the outer area?

I'm becoming desperate. Intercourse is painful most of the time and I am single. The idea of dating anyone is stressful thinking about what I will do when I get to that point.  All the doctors say they think it's yeast, they see a discharge, but then the tests come back negative. I just want to find a Dr that can tell me what's wrong but I can't find anyone that will help me.

I bought PH strips and it's showing as between 3 & 4 so I don't think that's the problem. I did try a PH cleanser made for sensitive skin but it seemed to irritate my skin so I stopped. I now just use water.

Try to wash your vaginal area with a soap that balance your ph, I used to have the samething unconfort,  I bought the Summers Eve soap, the orange or lilac color is to balance the vaginal ph. Sometimes our ph is very acid and it cause a weird smell or white discharge, also a very bad sensation of burning. Good luck!
