Period Problems

Hello! I have been trying to get an answer to my problem for a while now and with no luck. Ok i was on BC pills and stopped taking them in September.. i got a period at the end of sept. and i haven't gotten one since, so thats like 6 months with no period.. i have been to the doctor and she ordered a sonogram external and internal all they found was a small cyst that did not need to be treated. i asked my doctor if that was why i wasnt getting my period and she said that no that wouldn't be the reason for not getting my period but it is the reason for having pelvic pain. I go back to the doctors on Tuesday but do you have any idea of what this might be? what should i tlk to her about? Thanks so much!! :)

on the today show this morning they were talking about cysts often being the cause of irregularity, hmm i wonder if they were wrong, try drinking parsley tea to get it started, i know it sounds weird, but i found info on it last week, bc i too am really late for no apperent reason, the parsley tea didnt work for me but some say it brings your period on naturally, and doesnt harm pregnany(not that your pregnant, just saying its safe)

have you googled cysts and delayed menstration? i just did and got to several web sites that say cysts can in fact cause delayed menstration,

Are your sure your not pregnant?....You'd know by now, sorry, stupid question...I have had weird periods since going off the pill, and a lot of pelvic pain, but i have gotten my period every month, even if it has been late..38 days was the longest...My guess is that it could be related to  going off the pill...Is your doc aware of this??or maybe the cyst thing they found could be causing it..Could there be another cause: stress, weight gain/loss, Medications,ETC..?? It might be due to  some type of hormonal imbalance..Good luck to you...
