How many active birth control pills do you have to take after antibiotics?

I was prescribed Amoxicillin on 1/12 and finished on 1/17. I am very good about taking my birth control at 7 am every morning. On 1/17 I started taking my placebo for my birth control (which I only take 4 rather than all 7). So on 1/21 I started a new birth control pack and therefore started taking my active pills. On the night of 1/27 I had unprotected sex but he did not ejaculate inside me. Is there any chance I’m pregnant?

You are not considered protected by your bcp in a month in which you have taken antibiotics. Talk to your doc or a pharmacist to see if ending the Amoxi on the 17th would be long enough ago. (Incidentally, did you cut the run of antibiotics short? Usually they go for more than a week.)
