Just Wondering???

I HAVE A QUESTION. OK I NEVER HAD AN YEAST INFECTION BUT IM HAVING THIS PROMBLEM AND I DON'T KNOW IF ITS AN INFECTION OR NOT. MY VAGINA STARTED ITCHING ME REAL BAD TODAY AND I SCRATCHED IT AND KEEP ON SCRATCHING IT. AND IT GOT REALLY IRRITATED ITS VERY SORE I COULD BARELY TOUCH IT HURT SO BAD.WHEN I GO TO THE RESTROOM TO PEE IT BURNS A LITTLE I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK. BUT THE THING THATS BOTHERING ME IS I LOOK DOWN THERE AND I NOTICE I HAVE SOME LITTLE BUMPS WHERE IT ITCH AT AND IM SCARED THAT I MIGHT HAVE AN STD. I DONT HAVE ANY DISCHARGE OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT COMING OUT IT JUST ITCH REAL BAD AND THOSE BUMPS IS WHAT IM WORRYING ABOUT. AND THE BUMPS IS ON THE INNER PART OF MY VAGINA LIKE ON ONE SIDE MAINLY ON THE LIP PART. I SCARED CAN ANYBOBY TELL ME WHAT THIS IS.

Yeast infections don't necessarily have to have discharge.  The intense itching sounds consistant.  Yeast is probably your best bet and if you scratched it to death, then of course it will be very irritated.  However, if you have never had a yeast infection before you do need to see a doctor.  It's most likely yeast, but std's can mimic yeast.  Good luck!

If you are sexually active, I definitely recommend going to your general practitioner or an ob/gyn and getting tested for stds just to be sure. Don't assume that it is a yeast infection because you don't want to leave an std untreated if that is what it turns out to be. Best of luck!

sounds like you might be having a yeast infection.  That is what I get when I have one.  Since this is your first you should really go to the dr.  But until you can get in, you could go to the store and get over the counter yeast infection cream.  Just follow the directions or ask the pharmacist.  Good Luck.

I never had the bumps when i got a yest infection i did have discharge but you never know because i never had the itching either my doc mentioned that is normally a sign that you have a yest infection. Good luck!
