Just a question

Hello me again I was only wondering if it is bad for me to sleep on my back. I am 13 weeks pregnant and not sure if it will be bad for the baby. Any opinions? Thanks.

You may still be a little early to worry about that.  I have read your LEFT side is the best way to sleep for your baby.  I always slept on my left side during my pg because my right side gave me horrible heartburn (still does sometimes hmmmmm)  I look at it like this - Once you get further along and bigger sleeping is going to become more difficult so any position you find to sleep and you are comfortable GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!  Good Luck and congrats.   Take Care

I just asked my doctor this question on Monday because I have atrofy (SP?) in my entire left leg which makes it very hard to sleep on that side. He said either side is fine, left perferably, but not on back. If you must lie on your back you need to be up at a 45 degree angle, like sitting in a lazy boy chair. I am 32 weeks so I am not sure at what stage this become "OH MY GOSH" important. But like Blondie said really how much is the "normal" pregnant person laying in one position. Good luck.
