need advice ladies...

I am on BC pills and have been for 2 cycles now.  Here's my dilema....

I am going on a cruise with my husband in May and my period is due that week. When I get my period, not only is it gross to have sex but I cramp too much to do it and enjoy it.  NOt to mention that I won't be able to go into the hot tub or go snorkling.

This is our first time away together with out the kiddos and I really want it to be great.

SO is there a way to miss or hold of a period if I take say stop the bc pills two week before the cruise and start the green ones.  I could really use advise here.

The center pills, which are probably blue or green, are just placebo pills.  You can skip the last week of pills and start a new pack immediately.  It is safe, I have done it a couple of times.  Just skip the placebo or sugar pills as they are sometimes called, and start a new pack.

And if I start a new pack skipping the placebos I won't get my period right.   Will the next period after that be more heavy.

No, if you skip then it will not make the next one heavier!  Good luck and have fun!
