Late but negative hpt...

I have been having cramping on and off for two weeks and I am now a week late, but all thd hpts I've taken are negative :( The doctor did bloodwork today, but said HcG would have shown up in urine by now. We just started ttc last month and I had a chemical pregnancy thd first month, and now this...im only 26, thought it would be easier than this lol

Yeah that's kind of what I assumed, I'm just getting impatient and the cramps are super annoying. Oh well Il guess much worse things could happen, I should count my blessings

You only had a chemical pregnancy around last month, so that could be the cause for the missing period. It can a while for your body to regulate following a chemical pregnancy - or any type of miscarriage. Your doctor is right, it would have shown on a urine test by now if you were pregnant, and the blood test will tell you for definite.
