have had lots of surgeries and I am young

I am 33 and I have had around 25 major procedures in the last 4 years. I am in constant pain but am trying to live my life as normally as I can.  I have a husband and 2 children, I work full time and go to college at night time.  I am also very active in school activities.  But, I am told by people I am doing way too much.  Although it is my personality to go, go , go.  All of the medical bills on top of everything else has taken on toll on my married life and my mental state...I look at myself in a way that I used to not do...I can no longer have children because I had a hystorectomy.....how can I get myself through all of these struggles and keep my head high and smiling??????

hey----thank you for you words of encouragement-----you have had a rough time of it------wow......if there is one thing I have learned over the past few years----it is that things seem to happen for a reason.....now...it was hard for me to accept for a long time and I still have my days I am crying all the time my road to recovery is a long ways down the road.....but----I don't think I would have been given these challenges if he knew I could not handle them......I feel that is the same with you....all of us are strong individuals...we would have to be to be able to handle test after test after poke in the arm to surgery....I have actually thought about adoption also....a friend of mine has joined into the foster care program.....she seems to love it-----
So you have a appt. with your doct....have questions ready...I am really bad about going to my specialist will the great ideas of questions and then I get there and I am blank....
