Menstrual Pain

I get sharp pains in my pelvic area along with my period.  Sometimes its so unbearable that i'm unable to stand up straight.  I saw my OB and he found that everything was ok.  I'm worried i may have Endometriosis.  I need help on this matter.  I don't want anything to hinder me from getting pregnant when time is due.  And also gettign a larposcopy is very expensive.  Anyone knows the price to have one? Give me some guidance

I had it done in july and my endo started to grow back 3 weeks later! It is hard but i'm told it can be controlled, i'm ttc right now but will start constant b/c to keep endo at bay. You should have the lap done, that way if you have endo it can be taken away and you can be put on drugs to controll it. Then when you decide you want to have a baby then come off the drugs. The scarring i have is very minimal, i have a small scar on my belly button and 2 each side of my pubic area. Good luck!

it cost about 2000.00 to have laproscopy done, but the down sie to that is it causes scarring and if you do have endo it will come back. I suffered with endo for yrs and had a lapro done in 2001 only to be told it would return within 5 yrs mine came back 2 yrs later with vengence.
